Tour starts around 7:00am with the hotels pick-up times. Driving by the International Airport and the city of Alajuela, you will see and learn about two important monuments; "The Agriculture" and "Juan Santa Maria", only National Hero. Beginning to ascend to the Poas Volcano National Park, we stop to enjoy a typical breakfast. Once at the Park you make a short hike to the active main crater and the visitor center. Tour continues with a great hike at the "Waterfall Gardens", where one can observe a large Butterfly Farm, the Hummingbird Gallery, Orchid exhibit, Snake Farm, Frog Pound. Monkey Cage and the beautiful  five waterfalls! The drive continues away from the Cloud Forest down into the Tropical Rain Forest at the low lands of our North Atlantic zone. There you will take a jungle boat ride at the Sarapiqui River where you will see lots of Wild Life like: monkeys, iguanas, tropical birds, caimans, and more! The way back to San Jose can't be nicer; you will cross the Braulio Carrillo National Park. Back at San Jose around 6:00pm. Tour includes: all transportation, tour guide, breakfast, lunch and entrance fees.
