This unique ecoturism and research facility opened in October 1994. The Tram takes visitors on a fascinating excursion through the rain forest canopy and its hanging gardens of plants and animals hidden at the treetops of tall tropical trees. Tour operates from 5:30am - 1:30pm or from 11:00am - 6:00pm. The tour includes: transportation San Jose - Tram - San Jose & lunch, an introduction where the visitor receives a preliminary information about the Tram and the goals of the project. A nature guided walk with one of the specially trained forest guides. The Tram ride with a maximum of five people and one tour guide, duration of about 1:30 to 2:00 hours ride.
