Rio Pacuare
According to National Geographic Magazine, this river is considered one of the best rivers for whitewater rafting. Lush vegetation, a wide variety of wildlife (such as jaguars, monkeys, sloth's, ocelots, and a diversity of birds), waterfalls, pools, and a pristine rainforest are found along its course.
Rio Pacuare - Class III-IV

San Martin to Siquirres. 16 miles long river rafting!!! This perfect tropical river, declared one of the five best rafting rivers in the world for its scenery and rapids, is a trip of pure magic, unsurpassed beauty, wildlife and exhilarating fun. The Pacuare River borders the Talamanca mountain range, home to native Cabecar Indians, jaguars, monkeys, sloths, and an incredible variety of birds, butterflies, and reptiles. Rio Reventazon
The Reventazon gathers its waters from the rugged core of the Cordillera de Talamanca. Whitewater can be found on the Reventazon all the way to Siquirres, at an elevation of 150 feet (45 m). There are many points of access along the way, enabling paddlers to choose from a wide variety of day trips.
Rio Reventazon (Florida) Class II-III
Description:
Florida sections. 10 miles long river rafting. This section of the mighty Reventazon River is some of the fastest and best 10 miles of Class III rapids you'll ever paddle! If you're a first time paddler or experienced rafter looking for the excitement of big waves, hydraulics, and stunning scenery, then this trip is for you. You'll leave San José early in the morning, driving through Braulio Carrillo National Park to the river. At our private river put-in, you'll start- off with an exhilarating first set of rapids. Rio Sarapiqui - Class III
Description:
La Virgen to Chilamate. 8 miles long river rafting. This stunning rainforest river is an excellent choice for a first rafting trip in Costa Rica. The lush vegetation and thick tree canopy along the narrow, winding river is home to numerous species of birds, lizards and much more. Rafting down the Sarapiqui, you can expect clear, warm water flowing down from Poas Volcano. You'll have fun going through exciting rapids interspersed with tranquil polls, and taking in breathtaking views. Along the riverbank, you'll stop for a luscious buffet picnic lunch prepared by your guides and swiming.
